Training Organized by Foundation for Rural and Urban Transformation (FoRUT)

Every Woman Sierra Leone participated in a training organized by Foundation for Rural and Urban Transformation (FoRUT) for Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) on Alcohol, Drugs, and Effective Countermeasures.

Key objectives of the training was to raise awareness about the impact of alcohol and drug misuse on communities, particularly focusing on youth and vulnerable groups and to strengthen the capacity of CSOs in advocating for policies and actions that support public health and well-being.

The training was a success, equipping CSOs with the necessary tools, knowledge, and resources to address the pressing issues of alcohol and drug misuse. By leveraging community involvement, evidence-based interventions, and policy advocacy, the training set the foundation for meaningful action in the fight against substance abuse.
