Every Woman Sierra Leone was founded from a deeply personal journey and a powerful conviction that no woman should suffer in silence.
The founder’s life was shaped by experiences of sexual and gender-based violence, a reality faced by many women and girls across Sierra Leone and around the world. Rather than allowing these experiences to define her future, she made a courageous choice to transform adversity into a mission of hope, advocacy, and empowerment.
From that decision, Every Woman Sierra Leone was born.
The organization exists to support women and girls who have experienced violence, marginalization, and injustice. Through advocacy, survivor support, community engagement, and awareness initiatives, Every Woman Sierra Leone works to ensure that women can reclaim their dignity, rebuild their lives, and participate fully in society.
Our vision is a Sierra Leone where every woman is safe, respected, and empowered to reach her full potential.
Today, the organization is building partnerships with communities, institutions, and development partners to create sustainable programs that protect vulnerable women, amplify their voices, and transform lives.
At Every Woman Sierra Leone, we believe that when a woman is supported, a family is strengthened, a community is uplifted, and a nation moves forward.
