One-day Training Focused on Gender Laws in Sierra Leone.

We are excited to share that Every Woman Sierra Leone recently participated in a one-day training focused on gender laws in Sierra Leone. The session equipped us with crucial knowledge about key gender-related laws that protect women’s rights and promote equality. Some of the key laws include the Domestic Violence Act, the Sexual Offences Act, and the Gender Equality and Women’s Empowerment Act. These laws are essential in ensuring women have access to justice, protection, and equal opportunities.

As we continue our work advocating for women’s rights, we are committed to raising awareness, supporting survivors of gender-based violence, and promoting gender equality in all sectors. Together, we can create a safer and more equitable Sierra Leone for women and girls.
